Qdup’s latest single kicks off 2024 on the wild side along with the multi-talented Rapper, B-Girl, and Radio Personality from SoCal, Awoke. When we last heard these two collaborate back in 2018 with “Sonic Drop”, it left dance floors worldwide begging for more and garnered a place on Junodownload’s annual Best of Breakbeat list. From their first chance meeting at a hip hop showcase and open mic session Qdup was DJing at Burning Man, the two have been making magic by simply having fun together in the studio and it shows as the beat drops on “Wild Things.”

An infectious stand-up bassline, horn stabs and a cracking breakbeat set the tone for the track as Awoke goes in on the Mic, calling out to the people to Get Wild. The scene is set for a ride on the wild side as the story unfolds and the party get’s going. Awoke’s crisp and poppin’ vocals ride the beat nicely as she channels her best MC Lyte flow. Complete with a percussion break that feels like it’s straight from Bongolia, it’s sure to get the dancers out there busting out their wildest moves. Their unique in-studio chemistry led both Qdup and Awoke to take this one to the Wild Side, and they’re ready to give you a ride.

The single comes complete with a radio edit, an extended mix for the DJ’s and an instrumental mix to fit the needs of playlists and DJ’s alike.
